Visitors have the opportunity to see the “Big Five” (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhino), as well as other wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and hippos.

Springlands Hotel Moshi

Zara’s Springlands Hotel will be your home base for Kilimanjaro treks and Tanzanian safaris. It is located 3 km from the center of Moshi at 800 m/2,600 ft. The rooms have twin beds, mosquito netting, and bathrooms with hot showers. All linens are included. The hotel grounds are fenced for security, so you can enjoy the evenings outdoors. There is dining indoors and in the outdoor tropical garden. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served with local and international dishes. Breakfast is included with the room. The bar serves beer and mixed drinks.

Cash and Visa/ Master Card  are accepted at the Springlands Hotel. Except during low season (May 1-June 15 and November), all rooms are double and triple occupancy unless you pay for a single room. For children under 12 years we charge 70% of the adult price. If the child is sharing the room with parents, we charge 50% of adult price.

Highview Hotel Karatu

The Highview Hotel is located 140 km North-West of Arusha outside the town of Karatu, set between the Southern Highlands Forest Reserve of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the surrounding coffee farms. This location is the ideal base for excursion trips to the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara National Park and Lake Eyasi Area. Longer trips include Tarangire, Serengeti National Park and the Lake Natron area.

The Highview Hotel is at high elevation above the town of Karatu and its surroundings. From the balustrade in front of the rooms, visitors can enjoy a spectacular view over the surrounding hills and the local agricultural countryside. The hotel, which opened in 2006, is modern, comfortable and offers all kinds of contemporary amenities.
